European Gutter System

This is an interesting article. I heard that metal roofing can make the inside of your home cooler and is better for the environment. I have an old house so this may be a good investment to replace it. However, I wounder if metal roofing is better at preventing certain roof leaks. Since it is a harder surface, it seems like it would have more protections against leaks such as ice dam leaks and wind blown leaks. My roof has been damaged by leaks many times and I needed to look into roof leak repair to get it fixed properly. Maybe all these problems can be solved by a metal roof!
